Terms of Service

Bright Door Web · Ty · ty@brightdoorweb.com
Effective October 13, 2026

These are the plain rules for how I work. If anything here is unclear, email me before we start.

1. Your quote

Every job gets a fixed quote, agreed after a quick chat and before any work starts. No hourly billing, and no extras you didn’t ask for. If you want something added later, I’ll quote it separately and you decide.

2. Timing

3. Changes

One round of changes is included after you see the finished site (words, photos, colors, order). Send them together and I’ll take care of it. Any further rounds or additional changes are quoted separately, and you decide whether to go ahead.

4. Payment

By card, through a secure Stripe payment link. Payment terms are agreed together with your fixed quote. I never see or store your card details.

5. Replies

I reply within one business day.

6. Hosting (optional)

7. Ownership

You own your site: your domain, your content. Your materials (photos, logos, text) stay yours. You confirm you have the right to use what you send me.

8. Fixes after delivery

For 30 days after delivery, I’ll fix, free of charge, any errors I made in what I delivered. This does not cover new changes or new features, which are quoted separately. Apart from this, the services are provided without other warranties.

9. Third-party services

Your site may rely on services run by other companies, such as your domain registrar or booking and scheduling tools. I’m not responsible for outages, changes, or problems with those services.

10. Limitation of liability

My total liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid for that project.

11. Portfolio

I’ll show your finished work in my portfolio only with your permission.

12. Governing law

Governing Law and Jurisdiction. These Terms and any agreement for services between Thiago Costa, doing business as Bright Door Web ("Provider") and the client ("Client") shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Client acknowledges that it engages Provider for business purposes and not for personal, family, or household purposes. Before initiating any legal proceeding, the parties shall attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute by written notice and negotiation, including by email or videoconference, for a period of thirty (30) days. Any dispute not so resolved shall be submitted to the courts of the Judicial District (Comarca) of Serra, State of Espírito Santo, Brazil, to whose jurisdiction the parties consent; this choice of forum is non-exclusive, and Provider may also bring an action to collect amounts due in any court of competent jurisdiction where Client is located or has assets.

13. Changes to these terms

If I update these terms, the changes apply only to new projects. Projects already agreed stay under the terms in effect when they were agreed.

14. Who you’re working with

These services are provided by Thiago Costa, doing business as Bright Door Web.
